DANCING QUEEN (1975)

Dancing Queen es uno de los singles de mayor éxito grabado por el grupo sueco de pop ABBA, y el segundo más vendido del grupo tras Fernando, llegando ambos al número 1 en once países. La canción suele sonar en eventos deportivos. Aunque no tiene las características típicas de la música disco, se la considera uno de los mejores ejemplos de este género musical.

El éxito de Dancing Queen fue enorme no sólo en Suecia, sino en otros países: se mantuvo seis semanas en el número uno en el Reino Unido en agosto de 1976 y se convirtió en el único número uno del grupo en el Billboard Hot 100 en abril de 1977, además de conseguir el número uno en numerosos países incluidos Suecia, Noruega, Alemania, Austria, Bélgica, Suiza, Irlanda, Países Bajos, Zimbabwe, Sudáfrica, México, Australia y Nueva Zelanda. También llego en los 20 primeros en Canadá, Francia, Finlandia, Italia, Japón y España .
